What Adults Are Saying About Their Sunday School Classes
"Ever wondered how on earth you could raise a child in a godly way? Especially in this day and time? Especially when you are a single mom and have a rambunctious young man? I did. 'Raising Spiritual Champions Class' lays out a simple, step-by-step foundation on how a parent can raise her child. It is not easy, but it is doable. An ounce of effort and desire and a ton of faith will get you there." Tina Kabir

"The Woman to Woman class is a wonderful class. I have met so many wonderful, loving, and giving women. This has helped and touched me so much in my life and devotion. I have learned so much from this class. When each woman talks or presents they bring their unique spiritual gift for all to share." Cricket Pressley
Teachers - Dianne Jarvis, Merry Carol Scott, Terry Biering, Victoria Nix

"We like our corner of the Sanctuary where we meet each week. We are mostly seniors, but not all; and of course anyone is welcome. We always have the opportunity to share praise reports and also have our needs prayed for. We have seen answers to prayer. The Sanctuary Class is challenging and insightful. Our teacher encourages input which can lead to some good discussions-something to think about during the week. We recognize our teacher's gift of teaching and believe he has caused us to increase in our knowledge of the Word. We love him, and he loves us - just ask Pauline." Al and Evie Zanoni
Teacher - Bill Roberts
Location - Main Sanctuary
"The Hebrews Class is very inspiring. The teacher explains everything in ways that I can understand. I really enjoy this class." Keenan Harrison
Teacher - Kenny Jarvis
Location - Choir Room (Upstairs, Main Sanctuary)
"The knowledge I have gained in the Marriage Class has been truly revelational to me. We all know that men and women are different. Knowing that and working it out in practical ways in our daily lives are two different things. This class has given me tools to use to improve my marriage. I also love the interaction between couples during class. It's amazing to discover we all struggle with the same issues and that God has practical answers for us all." Sherri Braxton

The Disciplines of Teaching The "Disciplines of Teaching" is a course designed for those who are currently teaching children or who are interested in teaching children. The purpose of this course is to refine the teaching skills of those who work with children. It is our desire to empower teachers to teach as the Master Teacher taught us, and to have a successful ministry. We will be studying the seven laws of teaching, classroom management, time management, learning styles, working with volunteers, and other topics related to teaching. Teachers: Mr. & Mrs. Gary Rose
Building Teamwork into Your Marriage "Understanding your differences are gifts from God, learn to enjoy each other more and make your marriage fun, healthy, and fascinating." This is a Homebuilder's series for small groups by Family Life Today. Teachers: Pastor and Mrs. David Braxton
Woman to Woman Open to women of all ages who desire God's wisdom in applying Biblical principles in our everyday lives. We will search the scriptures concerning areas such as inner and outer beauty, family, home, relationships, etc. This is also a wonderful opportunity for the older women to help teach younger women by sharing their life experiences. Co-Teachers:Terry Biering, Merry Carol Scott, Vicki Nix, and Dianne Jarvis
Book of the Bible Study: Hebrews. Teacher: Kenny Jarvis
Raising Spiritual Champions "God's plan is for familiies to lead in the provision of spiritual development of their children." - George Barna. Parents of children 0-12 years old will study together what the Bible says concerning parents' responsibilities in raising godly and spiritually mature children. We will study priciples, experiences, and practical applications that would assist in the process. The current text is "Growing Kids God's Way," by Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo. Teachers: Mr. & Mrs. Spencer Rolle, and Mr. & Mrs. Bradley Collins
Purpose Driven Life Taking a chapter a week from "A Purpose Filled Life," we discuss, pray, and lament over our lives in order to gain a deeper understanding of who we are in Christ. We are all created with a purpose; some know their calling, others struggle to know God's will for them. We have a discussion format, where "iron sharpens iron." We have experienced God's movement through sharing and confronting, in love, with a desire to see each reach their highest purpose. Teachers: Greg Hughes and Tamie Smith
Senior Adult Class follows the Assembly of God literature and uses a format that includes greetings, prayer, and testimonies. The teaching is modified to meet the class needs and the teacher's burden is to get to the deeper truths that most seniors need. Teacher: Bill Roberts
