If you are looking for a church that has a place for your precious children (ages 3 – 12), then look no further.  We care about the needs of children, both physically and spiritually.  It is our goal to provide a safe environment for the children to learn about God, to feel His love, to praise Him, and to worship Him.  Our service begins on Sunday morning at 10:45 A.M. As a safety precaution, we do ask that you register your child at the door as you come in. The children also have a puppetry team that ministers during this time as well as a skit during the service. Our children also participate in drama.   We believe in allowing the children to take part in this ministry as much as possible. It is a joy to see them so excited about serving in Children’s Church. Even our sound and PowerPoints are operated by our children. Children ages 6 to 12 meet upstairs, while our 3 to 5 year olds meet downstairs for a service especially for them. Our services are designed to have fun, to create excitement, and to enjoy learning God’s Holy Word.

Our children are great givers as they gave over $7,300 last year to missions! That included a special effort by Pastor Bradley with Up In The Air (see photo below), as he spent a week on a scissors lift to raise extra money for BGMC. The children themselves plan to give $1,200 this year, and with Up In The Air, hope to top the $7,500.00 mark. Missions or BGMC (Boys & Girls Missionary Crusade) is a very important part of KIKS with the first Sunday of every month being totally dedicated to “Missions Sunday". We learn about a different country each month and sample food from there as well. We have lots of fun on Missions Sunday!

We had given a challenge to the children to reach 75 in attendance in order to see Pastor Bradley shave his head. On August 7, 2005 the children achieved that goal! True to his word, that very service Pastor Bradley shaved his head into a Mohawk, the children's choice! Later, he dyed his remaining hair pink to completely satisfy his promise to the children. See the photo below on the right. Pastor Bradley kept his new hairdo for a whole month!

There are a lot of opportunities in this ministry through out the year for excitement. We offer puppet training on Sundays at 5P.M. and Creative Arts/Drama on Sundays during the evening service, and on alternate Sundays, Children's Choir meets during the evening service. We are currently working on a children’s praise team, a children's choir, and a discipleship class. We will keep you posted on future events with the weekly Children's Church bulletin, and through this website. We would love the chance to minister to your child.

In Pastor Bradley's sermon to the adults on Wednesday, October 5, he concludes by showing a painting. To see the painting, Just click here  Why Did You Doubt?.

Buddy Barrels - If you need one, See Pastor Bradley/ Mrs. Elizabeth. Remember the 1st Sunday of each month is Missions Sunday. Bring your Buddy Barrels full.
